As longer-term business travelers, we loved the spacious and well-equipped lodge. The en-suite bathrooms provided privacy, and the large fridge and freezer were a great convenience. Collecting and returning the keys was a breeze with the lockbox system. The peaceful and quiet surroundings made for a truly relaxing stay. The nearby village of Dunning had a shop and two bars serving delicious food. Thelma, our host, was incredibly helpful and responsive. we had a fantastic experience and can't wait to return.

The owner and communication were fantastic. We really appreciated the use of the facilities and the location was stunning and peaceful. It was great to have a washing machine and plenty of towels were provided. the amenities were also a nice touch.
There were a few minor issues with the property. the cooker took some getting used to as we were used to electric.

The lodge we stayed in was one of the best equipped places we've ever been to. It had everything we needed and more, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Additionally, the location was perfect for our needs. It was conveniently located near the village, making it easy for us to explore and access amenities. The clean and airy cabin added to the overall pleasant experience, creating a refreshing atmosphere during our stay.
One issue we encountered was the lack of proper lighting when returning to the lodge in the evening. It was quite dark outside, and there were no lights or pavements, making it unsafe for walking.

I recently stayed at the beautiful Shanthi Lodge for a weekend getaway with my family. The lodge was spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything we needed, including Netflix on the TV and excellent wifi. The lodge's cozy atmosphere, tasteful ornaments, and the stag by the fireplace added a special touch. The park with its own lake was lovely, and the village pub served a delicious meal. our stay at the lodge was fantastic, and I would definitely give it a 10 out of 10.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The location of the lodge was ideal for our needs, situated in a beautiful old village with views of trees and fields from the living room. the lodge itself was spotlessly clean and well-equipped, with thoughtful touches such as salt and pepper, coffee, tea, and even tasteful ornaments. the park surrounding the lodge was lovely, with its own lake and friendly residents.
The positioning of the toilet and vanity unit next to the twin room was awkward and cramped, making it difficult to use comfortably.

The lodge itself was beyond our expectations. The two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms provided plenty of privacy for our group. We also appreciated the spacious fridge and freezer. The convenience of the lockbox for key collection and return made the whole process hassle-free. The peaceful and quiet surroundings were exactly what we were looking for, and the nearby village of Dunning had everything we needed, including shops and bars serving delicious food. The host, Thelma, was helpful and always responded quickly to our inquiries.
Although the facilities were generally great, we did find a few minor issues. The iron and ironing board were not of the best quality, difficult to use them effectively.
